Welcome to the home page of artist Edward Coster. Edward started his art career on Long Island New York, where he painted the beauty of coastal Long Island waters and taught art in the N.Y.C. public schools. After teaching for 5 years he left teaching and began a career with the Fire Department Of New York. After working with the Fire Department for about 11 years he left the department after suffering a traumatic injury to his spine. Edward and his family has now relocated to beautiful Venice Florida and has once again returned to his passion of art and is painting the beautiful coastal waters of Florida and has begun inspiring the minds of aspiring artists by teaching again!
Edward loves to capture the play of light in nature and Aims to capture the transcendental nature of God through painting the beauty of his creation.
